Border States Electric Names Gary Daniel Alliance Manager

Gary Daniel has been named Alliance Manager for Border States Electric’s (BSE’s) Amarillo, Texas, location. This is a new position that was added to support the integrated supply contract with Xcel Energy.
Before joining BSE, Daniel worked for Wesco Distribution in Amarillo from 1999 to 2005 as Operations/Alliance Manager. In 2005, he joined Texas Electric Cooperatives in Lubbock, Texas, where he worked as Operations/Sales Manager. Daniel received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.
Daniel and his wife, Holly, live in Amarillo. They have two daughters, Cora and Calla.
BSE provides products and services to the construction, industrial, and utility markets. Active employees own 100 percent of the company under the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The employee-owned company has about 1,300 employees and 60 branch operations in 14 states and Mexico. BSE is the 10th largest electrical distributor and one of the 100 largest private ESOP companies in the United States. Corporate headquarters are located in Fargo.
