Border States is incorporated in the state
of North Dakota, with headquarters located in Fargo. We have a centralized operational support center that handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources, logistics, marketing, purchasing and information technology.

Border States has a network of branches. Each branch location is managed by a team of branch, sales and operations staff that is sensitive to local market needs and responsive to specific customer requirements.
In 1984, Border States created the “Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).” Under this plan, active
employees own 100 percent of company stock.
